About
Hey, I’m Ayanna! [uh-YA-nuh] - Because I know you were wondering.
I’m a marketer utilizing my passion for thoughtful storytelling across various mediums to produce impactful end-to-end marketing. From strategy to execution, I delight in bringing brands to life through marketing that connects with customers. I have seven years of experience in marketing, working with diverse companies in commercial real estate, retail, fashion and technology.
I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, but one of the only Texan things about me is my love for the word y’all (it’s just so convenient). I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2013 with a degree in journalism and still have a love for the power of words, how they can inspire and inform.
In my free time I enjoy exploring. I’m a recent transplant to San Francisco and can usually be found scouting out donut shops or on a walking tour in ultimate tourist fashion. My latest fascination is with a list I discovered of park pavilions that were renovated by top architecture firms. I’m on a quest to visit them all, and am always amazed by how the designers took a traditional structure and turned it into an architectural spectacle.
When I’m not exploring, I’m usually dancing, reading memoirs or trying to keep my eight plants alive.
